I want to let you know about Vision Forum's latest product offering...
To celebrate the 500th anniversary of the birth of John Calvin, Vision Forum is releasing a two album set of lectures given at the Reformation 500 Celebration.
On July 1-4, 2009, people from across America journeyed to New England, the place where Pilgrims and Puritans took the Word of God and the doctrines taught by the Reformers and lived by them in the family, the church, the state, and the culture, thus giving birth to a free and holy heritage of religious and civil liberty. Calvin has often been called America’s true founding father, and he was the undisputed theological leader of the Reformation. Remembering the lasting influence of Calvin and the other Reformers, we have to also celebrate the providence of God in the life of His Church through the work of the Lord Jesus Christ. We desire our children to stand firm during this time of spiritual confusion. We must prepare them to follow the example of the Reformers by advancing Christ as king in all of life and thinking.
Study the amazing legacy of John Calvin and his part in the Protestant Reformation. Celebrate the 500th anniversary of the birth of John Calvin and the 500-year tradition of Reformers such as Martin Luther, John Knox, and Theodore Beza as well as the countless martyrs whose courage and faith reshaped the West and gave birth to modern liberty. It was through Calvin's influence that our great nation was planted in the fifteenth century by the Pilgrims and the Puritans.
A live recording was made at the Reformation 500 Celebration so that those who could not attend can still benefit. Listen to the audio from this Vision Forum event which showed forth the the mighty hand of God in the history of the Church — the glorious acts He has done to conquer tyranny and preserve the true faith.
